Gantry crane operator • Dubuque County, Iowa

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
