Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Brooke County, West Virginia. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Part-time with flexible hours.
