Natural gas fitter — Kay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Kay County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 1+ years on the tools preferred.
