Panel welder • Onicha, Ebonyi State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Onicha, Ebonyi State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
