Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Charlton County, Georgia. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
