Production welder • Washington County, Colorado

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Washington County, Colorado. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
