Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in City of Falls Church, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
