Tyre and wheel fitter wanted in La Plata County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in La Plata County, Colorado. You will work at a busy tyre bay. Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Awareness of workshop health and safety The role involves: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres 2+ years on the tools preferred.
