Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Lipscomb County, Texas. On a typical shift you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
