Heat pump service technician wanted in Stockton-on-Tees

Now hiring: we are hiring a heat pump service technician in Stockton-on-Tees, England. You will work on a domestic renovation retrofitting a heat pump. Ideal candidate: • Full clean driving licence for van-based work • Competent brazing copper pipework and pressure testing • G3 unvented cylinder qualification an advantage The role involves connect the heat pump to underfloor heating manifolds or radiators; run and insulate refrigerant pipework between outdoor and indoor units; wire the outdoor and indoor units back to the controller and isolator; pressure test the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen and check for leaks; size and select the heat pump unit and buffer tank; mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base.
