Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Colfax County, Nebraska. You will work at a logistics warehouse. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card The role involves: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Meals and transport allowance provided.
