Great opportunity: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. The job is on residential new-build sites. Requirements: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A good head for heights and steady balance • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Day-to-day duties: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
