Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Day to day you will set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
