Urgent requirement: stitching operator (New Hampshire)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
