Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Newton County, Missouri. You will work in a gas distribution network. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites On a typical shift you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
