Room boy — San Miguel County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a room boy in San Miguel County, New Mexico. You will be based in a hospital housekeeping department. Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines • Willing to work shifts, weekends and rotational offs The role involves: • Strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste • Service 14-16 rooms per shift to the floor checklist • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room • Report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering Full-time with occasional weekends.
