Stainless steel welder — Lenawee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lenawee County, Michigan. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
