Render and set plasterer — Newaygo County

Join our team: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Newaygo County, Michigan. The job is in a refurbishment property. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Day-to-day duties: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
