Urgent requirement: vertical transportation technician (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Southampton, England. You will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate We offer £2,750 per month plus benefits.
