We are recruiting: long-haul driver (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel The role involves: • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load 4+ years on the tools preferred.
