Immediate opening: concrete labourer (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Pope County, Illinois. The job is at an infrastructure site. The role involves: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
