Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Marathon County, Wisconsin. The role involves carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred.
