Now hiring: heavy equipment operator (Delta State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Ika South, Delta State. You will work at a road-building project. The role involves: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Check for underground cables and services before digging What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦300,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
