Immediate opening: pressman (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Franklin County, Texas. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
