LV electrician — Borough of Wigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a LV electrician in Borough of Wigan, England. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. The role involves run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; test insulation resistance with a megger; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans; measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state Full-time with occasional weekends.
