Shuttering charge hand wanted in Avoyelles Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
