We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in James City County, Virginia. You will work on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
