Vacancy available: gas appliance installer (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Kunchi, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
