We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
