Panel welder wanted in Iberia Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
