Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Six days a week, one day off.
