Auto painter — Telford and Wrekin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an auto painter in Telford and Wrekin, England. The job is at a busy body shop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Day-to-day duties: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
