Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Lagelu, Oyo State. The job is on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Pay around ₦180,000 per month, based on your experience.
