Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
