Cnc production machinist wanted in Glenn County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Glenn County, California. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets 1+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
