Catering cook wanted in Jefferson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a catering cook in Jefferson County, Tennessee. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Performance bonus on top of base pay.
