Tailor machinist — Randolph County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Randolph County, North Carolina. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
