Immediate opening: concrete worker (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete worker in Franklin County, Alabama. You will work on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
