Moulder — Coffee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Coffee County, Alabama. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
