Mason's helper wanted in Aleutians East Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Your main tasks: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
