Short order cook — City and Borough of Salford

We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in City and Borough of Salford, England. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £100 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
