Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Chariton County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
