Brick and block layer • Putnam County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Putnam County, Florida. On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
