Great opportunity: sheet metal welder (Connecticut)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
