What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
