Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Mayes County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Mayes County, Oklahoma. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
