GMAW welder wanted in Woodward County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Woodward County, Oklahoma. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
