Tiling assistant — Newaygo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Newaygo County, Michigan. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. The role involves: • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
