Shuttering carpenter — Gibson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Gibson County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
