GMAW welder — Udenu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Udenu, Enugu State. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦4,500 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
